Presteigne Food & Flower Festival

Where and When?

Presteigne Food & Flower Festival will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2019, 10am to 4pm.

The Street Market is located on Broad Street and the High Street in Presteigne, Powys, LD8 2AD. Google map here.

The demonstrations and workshops are held in The Assembly Rooms and St Andrew’s Church Hall. Programme here and map available on the day.

The Open Gardens are in and around the centre of Presteigne. See the Open gardens page for details – a list of gardens complete with map will be available on the day.

Street Market; open from 10am to 4pm – stalls will fill the High Street as well as part of Broad Street.

The Food Court will be near St Andrew’s Church Hall with further stalls and attractions in and around St Andrew’s Church.

Parking

Parking is free. Please look out for signs as you arrive. You can park at either of the council car parks in Presteigne for free on the day. Additional parking is available at John Beddoes School and Went’s Meadow.

Cost

The Presteigne Food and Flower Festival, including the street market and demonstrations, is FREE entry. Visits to the Open Gardens are by donation. This year the garden owners will chose their own charity to support.

Children

There is plenty for children to do at the festival including foraging, interactive talks and more. The Festival organisers aim to provide something for all ages to take part in and enjoy – please check the programme, workshop and other events pages for more details.

Toilets

There are public toilets at Hereford Street Car Park. They include disabled toilet (requiring RADAR key) and basic baby changing in the Ladies. There are further toilets at our venues The Assembly Rooms (including disabled) and St Andrew’s Church Hall.

Cash Points

There is a cash point available at Lloyds Bank, Hereford Street (past the bank in a wide gateway). Premier and Spar offer cash back.

Disabled Visitors

The Festival is held on the streets of Presteigne and is accessible to disabled visitors. We can make arrangements for disabled visitors to have space in the workshop and demonstration areas. Please find a steward when you arrive.

Vegetarians AND Vegans

There will be vegetarian and vegan food available at the festival. Many stalls will have vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome at the festival.
