Herbal Medicine: a modern Herbalist

Rowan McOnegal has been a qualified medical herbalist and teacher for 30 years, and has lived and worked locally for the past 23 years. She is a regular contributor to 'The Hedge' magazine, writing 'Notes from a Hedge Witch'.
She is an environmentalist and grower, and is fascinated by how plants and animals (including humans) can work together and benefit each other.
She will talk about life as a herbalist, and how you can cultivate, harvest, and make remedies and perfumes from, wild and garden plants to support your health and wellbeing.
Hand tied country garden bouquets by Carrie Ede
2 - 3 pm, The Assembly Rooms
Using seasonal garden flowers and greenery Carrie Ede will explain and demonstrate how to make simple, striking hand tied bouquets.
